Bishop Ahern recently passed away. How many of us were confirmed by him? Hundreds if not thousands. I remember hearing that the Bishop slapped you across the face while you being confirmed; thankfully the good Bishop was not in a slapping mood that day. I think I was gently "tapped" as I was infused with the Holy Spirit.
