School Lunch

Postby Marion Farrell Cronin » Wed Mar 18, 2009 4:09 pm

Just heard a story on the news out of Connecticut. Kindergartner did not like the school lunch and tossed it in the garbage. Teacher makes him fish it out of the garbage and eat it. She was arrested!!!

Boy oh boy, how times have changed. Wasn't this a daily occurrence in St. Anthony's under the watchful eyes of Sister Laboure and Sister Catherine?

Marion...

Sr Labourie "made" Larry Cole drink his milk after he informed her he was allergic to milk...the projectile vomiting finally convinced Larry shouldn't drink milk...<:~)

Good thing it wasn't a peanut allergy! That could have been tragic.

I used to look forward to Fridays during Lent when we always had grilled cheese for lunch. YUM YUM  If I remember correctly, we used to get chocolate milk on Tuesdays & Thursdays.
