memories of taylor avenue

Hello! It's been a while since I've been here and I have missed it. I was just wondering if anyone remembered Mister Softee that used to come down Taylor Avenue every night during the summer? I used to love the ice cream sodas that he used to make. His name was Danny. If you met him up at PS102, he would let you stand beside him in the truck while he went further down Taylor Ave. Many nights, that was how I got home from the park.
